The Projecta BT950-CAL is the CAL2 Fuse for BT950-P1 Distribution Terminal. A CAL2 fuse for the Projecta BT950-P1 fused distribution terminal, for the high current outlet.
Projecta says it carries the load of a starter motor or winch while protecting against a direct short.
Sold as a single fuse.
Use it on the outlet that feeds the winch or high current circuit.
A fuse protects the cable, so choose the rating with the cable size in mind. Mount fuses as close to the battery as practical, so the whole cable run is protected. Carry the right spare ratings with the vehicle. Label each outlet so the right fuse is easy to find later. If you are unsure about any of it, an auto electrician can fit and test the setup for you. Check that every bolt is tight and nothing can rub through insulation once the job is finished. Disconnect the negative terminal first and reconnect it last whenever you work near the battery. Remove rings and watches before working on battery connections. See the rest of the Projecta range for matching parts.
This comes with the manufacturer's warranty through the Australian distributor. See the manufacturer's terms for details, plus our guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
