The Projecta BT36-10 is the Small Japanese Post Brass Battery Terminal, 5 positive and 5 negative Pack. Mixed pack: 5 positive and 5 negative small Japanese post terminals, enough to redo both posts on 5 batteries.
Material is forged brass, a solid choice for battery connections.
Clean the post back to bright metal before fitting, and coat the joint once tightened.
Size the cable first: this one is listed for 8 to 35 mm², 8 to 2 B and S.
Keep the positive covered so a spanner cannot bridge it to the body. Measure the post and the cable before ordering; a terminal that is too big for the post will never clamp properly. Check the terminal again after the first week, as new cable can settle under the clamp. Tighten firmly but do not crush the post; a lead post deforms easily. If the old terminal was badly corroded, cut the cable back to clean copper before fitting the new one. After fitting, a thin smear of terminal grease or spray protector slows corrosion. Use cable rated for the current and length of the run, and fuse it close to the battery. See the rest of the Projecta range for matching parts.
This comes with the manufacturer's warranty through the Australian distributor. See the manufacturer's terms for details, plus our guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
Yes, it holds 5 positive and 5 negative terminals, 10 in total.
Projecta lists 8 to 35 mm², 8 to 2 B and S for the main cable.
Cut the cable back to clean, bright copper if the old end is green or black, then fit the new terminal and tighten it firmly.
Once it is tight, a thin coat of terminal grease or protector spray over the joint slows corrosion.
Tighten until it cannot be twisted on the post by hand. Going further risks damaging the post or the terminal.
