Pioneer TS-WX400DA 250W Compact Active Underseat Subwoofer with Wired Bass Remote

The Pioneer TS-WX400DA is a powered subwoofer with a built in 250W max (100W nominal) Class D amplifier and a down firing 24 x 14cm driver, all in a box 300mm wide, 200mm deep and 100mm high.

Factory systems in hatches, SUVs and dual cabs are thin on bass, and a traditional sub box eats the boot or tray space you need. The TS-WX400DA slides under or behind a seat, draws a modest 9.4A at most, and the wired remote lets you set the bass level from the driver's seat.

Fitment and what comes in the box

Measure the space under your seat: the sub needs 300 x 200mm of floor and 100mm of height, plus room for the wiring at the end. Pioneer notes its fitment guide is a reference only, so we check the seat rails and any under seat ducts before we fit.

Installation notes

The TS-WX400DA accepts speaker level input, so it can be added to most factory head units without a line output converter. Run the power cable straight from the battery with a fuse near the terminal.
