Product features

The TS-B351PRO is a pair of Pioneer PRO Series 3.5 inch bullet tweeters with titanium diaphragms, a die cast aluminium chassis and a horn waveguide. They handle 150W RMS and 300W peak at 100dB sensitivity, which makes them loud enough to keep up with a high output street or SPL system.

The problem they solve

In a loud system, small dome tweeters run out of headroom first. Turn it up and the top end turns harsh or the tweeter dies. A big bullet tweeter with high sensitivity and a horn plays loud and clear with far less strain, so the highs keep pace with the midbass and subs.

Fitting tips

Run them through a crossover or set a high pass filter on the amp or DSP well above 3kHz to start, then adjust by ear. Driving a tweeter full range is the fastest way to kill it. Point them towards the listening position for the best stereo image, and keep them away from where knees and bags hit.
