The 10.1" 720P HD capacitive touchscreen uses a high-brightness display with high-proximity panel construction for a clear, wide-angle display with capacitive touch keys and a new Direct key for instant access to the Apple CarPlay or Android Auto interface.
The floating/separable screen design provides installation flexibility unique to this platform: the 1-DIN chassis installs in a standard DIN opening while the 10.1" display can be configured as a floating mount for most vehicles with horizontal, vertical, and tilt adjustability, or as an in-dash flush mount in specific vehicles with a compatible third-party installation kit. This makes the SPH-EVO109DAB compatible with vehicles where a standard double DIN or trapezoid opening is not available.
