Shipping information

We offer fast and reliable shipping options to ensure that your order arrives in a timely manner. Our dedicated team works diligently to process and ship your items as quickly as possible.

Here are some key points to note about our shipping policy:

Standard Shipping

  • Frankies offers a $15.95 flat rate for Australia-wide shipping, no matter how many items you order. Some larger or heavier items may incur an additional fee, which will be communicated to you when your order is processed.
  • While we endeavour to dispatch all orders promptly, please be advised that due to the current national fuel shortages in Australia and the resulting pressure on logistics networks, order processing and dispatch may take up to 7 business days. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party freight carriers or fuel-related logistical disruptions. By placing an order, you acknowledge that delivery timeframes may be extended beyond our standard estimates during this period.

Estimated delivery times:

  • WA, NT, and TAS: currently experiencing longer shipping times
  • Holiday periods (e.g. Christmas): deliveries may be delayed due to increased freight volumes

Express Shipping

  • Express shipping is available and calculated based on your delivery location, as well as the size and weight of your order. To receive an accurate quote, please contact our Albion Park Rail store and request an "express shipping quote." Our team will promptly assist with pricing and availability. Payment for express shipping can be securely arranged over the phone.

OEX ACX3882BL 25A Three-Position On/Off/On DPDT Toggle Switch 12V 12mm Mount 6 Blade Terminals

The OEX ACX3882BL is a 25A three-position On/Off/On DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) toggle switch rated at 12V, with six blade terminals and a 12mm mounting diameter. The DPDT configuration switches two independent poles simultaneously each pole has its own common and can be directed to one of two outputs depending on the switch position. Three positions provide two distinct active states plus a centre Off, making it suited to polarity-reversing circuits, source-selection applications and dual-circuit control. Toggle lever action flips between positions and holds with clear physical feedback. 12mm mounting hole, 3mm mount length. Non-illuminated. Covered by a one year warranty.

Product overview

A DPDT switch controls two independent switching poles at the same time. Each pole has its own common terminal and two output terminals one for each of the two On positions. When the switch moves to position 1, both poles simultaneously connect their commons to their position-1 outputs. When moved to position 2, both poles switch to their position-2 outputs. The centre Off disconnects both poles simultaneously. The switch holds in all three positions and does not spring-return to centre.

This three-position DPDT configuration is most commonly used for polarity reversing circuits where position 1 sends current through a motor or actuator in one direction and position 2 reverses the polarity to run in the opposite direction, with the centre Off stopping the motor. It is also suited to selecting between two power sources or two output circuits from a single switch, and any application requiring both poles to be managed together. At 25A and 12V the toggle has the current capacity for direct accessory switching as well as relay triggering. The 12mm mounting hole suits the same standard round panel holes as the OEX rocker and push button switch range.

Features and benefits

DPDT On/Off/On configuration: Switches two independent poles simultaneously. Three positions provide two distinct active states plus a centre Off. Holds in all three positions.

Polarity reversing and dual-circuit control: Position 1 connects both poles to one set of outputs; position 2 connects both poles to the other set. Centre Off disconnects both. Suited to reversible motor control, source selection and dual-circuit switching.

25A at 12V: High current capacity for direct accessory switching and relay triggering in demanding circuits.

6 blade terminals: Two common terminals plus two outputs for each switch position — full DPDT wiring.

Toggle lever action: Flips between positions and holds. Clear physical feedback of selected state.

Non-illuminated: Clean, functional switch without LED indicator.

12mm mounting diameter: Standard round hole compatible with OEX rocker and push button switch range.

3mm mount length: Compact panel depth requirement.

One year warranty: Covered by a one year OEX warranty.

Frequently asked questions

What does DPDT mean? DPDT stands for Double Pole Double Throw. The switch simultaneously controls two independent switching poles, each of which can be directed to one of two output positions. There are two common terminals one per pole and two sets of output terminals. When the switch moves to either On position, both poles simultaneously connect to their corresponding outputs for that position.

What are the three positions on this switch? The three positions are On (position 1), Off (centre) and On (position 2). In position 1, both poles connect to their position-1 outputs. In centre Off, both poles are disconnected. In position 2, both poles connect to their position-2 outputs. The switch holds in all three positions and does not spring-return to centre.

What applications is a three-position DPDT switch suited to? This configuration is commonly used for polarity reversing circuits where one On position sends current in one direction through a motor or actuator and the other On position reverses polarity to run in the opposite direction. It is also suited to selecting between two power sources or two output circuits from a single switch, and any application where two poles need to be managed together.

How does a toggle switch differ from a rocker switch? A rocker switch has a flat rectangular body that rocks side to side the end pressed down is the active side. A toggle switch has a lever that flips between positions and holds. Both can have the same electrical configurations, but the toggle lever provides a distinctive look and clear tactile feedback of the selected position commonly associated with aviation, industrial and custom vehicle panel aesthetics.

What mounting hole does this switch require? The ACX3882BL requires a 12mm round mounting hole with a 3mm mount length the same standard 12mm hole used by the OEX rocker and push button switches in this range.
