The ACX2768 holds the Anderson plug in a fixed position and protects the connector face with a retractable cover that uses a spring tab locking system to stay open during connection and lock closed when not in use. This is a more permanent and purpose-built solution than the ACX2760C cap cover, which is suited to protecting loose connectors and cable ends rather than panel-mounted installations.
