The OEX ACX2768 is a durable surface mount casing cover designed for 50A Anderson style connectors, supplied in black as a single unit. It accepts all Anderson style 50A connectors and provides a permanent, flush-mount installation point on a vehicle, caravan, or panel with a retractable cover that protects the connector face when not in use. A red LED function provides a visual connection indicator.

Constructed from PA Nylon 66 housing with stainless steel hardware, the casing is built for demanding automotive and marine environments. The retractable cover uses a spring tab locking system to stay open during connection and closed when the connector is not in use. Cable input accepts up to 6AWG, with 58mm surface mount hole spacing. The Anderson 50A plug is not included.

What is the difference between this cover and the ACX2760C?

The ACX2760C is a simple cap that fits over an unconnected Anderson plug to protect the contact face. The ACX2768 is a permanent surface mount housing that mounts to a panel or bulkhead, holds the Anderson plug in a fixed position, and provides a retractable cover with a spring lock and LED indicator. The ACX2768 is suited to permanent vehicle installations; the ACX2760C is suited to protecting loose connectors or cable ends.

Is the Anderson plug included?

No. The ACX2768 is the surface mount cover/housing only. An Anderson 50A plug (such as OEX ACX2760 or ACX2761) is required separately.
