The OEX ACX1967BL is a non-illuminated, momentary push button switch designed for 12V and 24V automotive, 4WD, caravan, and commercial vehicle applications. When pressed, it completes a circuit momentarily and returns to the open (off) position when released — making it ideal for triggering horns, solenoids, starter circuits, air lockers, compressors, and other momentary-action accessories.
With a 50A power rating, a compact 16mm mounting hole, a 2-terminal SPST configuration, and a weatherproof rubber boot, this switch is built to handle the demands of Australian roads and conditions — from city rigs to remote touring setups and work vehicles.
Note: Confirm your panel cutout is 16mm before installation. Not suited for sustained-load (latching) applications — this switch is momentary only and will not hold the circuit open when released.
Not specified by supplier.
A momentary switch only completes the circuit while the button is held down and returns to the open (off) state when released. A standard toggle switch latches in the on position until manually switched off.
Yes — the ACX1967BL is dual-voltage rated at 12V and 24V, making it compatible with light vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, buses, and 24V caravan and auxiliary setups.
You'll need a 16mm diameter panel cutout. This is a common size in aftermarket switch panels, dash inserts, and auxiliary control enclosures and should not require custom drilling in most setups.
The switch includes a waterproof rubber boot that provides moisture and dust protection, making it suitable for underbonnet, exterior panel, and exposed dash installations in Australian conditions.
SPST stands for Single Pole Single Throw — one input terminal and one output terminal. Connect your power feed to one terminal and your load (horn, solenoid, relay, etc.) to the other. No complex wiring required.
