The OEX ACX1847 is a 150A Type III heavy duty manual reset circuit breaker designed for high-current circuit protection in automotive, marine, caravan and 4WD applications. Unlike a blade fuse, this circuit breaker can be manually reset after tripping, eliminating the need to carry spare fuses and reducing downtime in the field. IP67 waterproof and dustproof housing with stainless steel 9.5mm studs and rubber protective caps. Rated up to 72VDC. The switchable function also allows the breaker to operate as a manual isolation switch. Covered by a one year warranty.

Product overview

The ACX1847 extends the OEX Type III circuit breaker series to 150A, suited to the highest-current protection applications including main battery positive supply protection, large dual battery system main feeds, winch circuits, high-capacity inverter protection and marine main power feeds. At 150A it steps well above the ACX1846 (100A) for circuits where the full main supply lead requires protection at this level.

The Type III switchable design allows the breaker to function as both a manual reset circuit breaker and a manual on/off isolation switch. The IP67 housing provides complete dust exclusion and protection against temporary water immersion, suited to exposed and deck-mounted installations. The 9.5mm stainless steel studs with rubber protective caps provide secure, corrosion-resistant cable terminations compatible with standard cable lugs and ring terminals with a 9.5mm hole. Rated up to 72VDC, the ACX1847 covers 12V, 24V and 48V DC vehicle and battery systems including solar and battery storage applications.
