The Narva 54830 is a 30A automatic reset (type I) circuit breaker in a plastic case with a straight mounting bracket, rated for 12 to 24V systems. It protects a circuit from overload and short circuits and resets itself once it cools, so there is no fuse to carry or replace.
A fuse that blows on a fridge or a winch control circuit out on a track leaves you hunting for a spare. A breaker clicks off under overload, cools and closes again. That makes it a good fit for circuits with short surges, such as motors and compressors, and for wiring in places you cannot easily reach.
Keep in mind that an automatic reset breaker will keep cycling on a dead short. If it keeps tripping, find the fault rather than living with it.

Mount it close to the power source, on the positive feed, with the bracket screwed to a solid panel. Use ring terminals sized for the studs and cable rated for at least 30A over your run length. Keep it away from exhaust heat, because heat shifts the trip point of a thermal breaker.
This comes with the manufacturer's warranty through the Australian distributor. See the manufacturer's terms for details, plus our guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
No. It is type I, which resets automatically.
Yes. Narva rates it for 12 to 24V.
Narva makes 54840 at 40A and 54850 at 50A in the same style.
Feed from the battery positive to one stud and the load side to the other, close to the source, on cable rated for 30A or more. Screw the bracket to a solid panel.
A single 30A breaker with its straight bracket fitted. Narva does not list terminals or screws as part of it, so allow for ring terminals to suit the studs.
