These woofers incorporate Morel's core technologies, featuring a 2¼" (54mm) Aluminum Hexatech External Voice Coil wound on an aluminum former for stable, efficient, and linear piston-like movement that effectively reduces distortion levels. The 133mm driver size provides improved bass output compared to the smaller MW4 while maintaining versatile installation compatibility. With 120W RMS power handling, 90 dB sensitivity, and 4-ohm impedance, the MW5 MKII pair offers enhanced performance for 2-way custom builds or factory speaker upgrades. The frequency response extends from 45 Hz to 3,000 Hz, providing improved low-frequency extension compared to the 4" version.
