This 5.25" driver features Morel's proprietary triple-layer cone construction, consisting of two layers of carbon fiber sandwiching a Rohacell foam core for incredible stiffness, high damping, and lightweight performance. The large 3-inch diameter Hexatech aluminum voice coil with titanium former is paired with Morel's EVC motor technology for remarkable control and low distortion. This combination delivers highly transparent and bass-rich sound reproduction with exceptional power handling capabilities. The MW5's 4-ohm impedance and 85 dB sensitivity make it suitable for various amplifier configurations, while its frequency response extends from 40 Hz to 5 kHz for versatile performance in 2-way and 3-way component systems.
