Quick answer:The Mongoose BSDA is the add on external warning unit for the MM7BSD2 blind spot monitor. When the monitor's AI spots something in a blind side zone, the BSDA gives a light and sound warning outside the vehicle so pedestrians know to keep clear.

The warnings follow the settings in the monitor, based on camera 1, camera 2 and the zones you draw. You can pick from a range of audible warnings. It also connects to the left and right turn signals, so it can warn each time the vehicle turns. Per the manual, it is fitted on the passenger side, with the green wire to the left indicator and the brown wire to the right.
