The LR12/2 is a pair of load resistors designed to prevent dashboard error messages and indicator hyper-flash caused by the lower current draw of LED globes compared to standard halogen globes. Each resistor draws the equivalent current of a 21W globe, making the vehicle's electrical system read the LED installation as a conventional globe. The aluminium base requires mounting to a metal surface for thermal dissipation of the 50W dummy load. 12V only. IP67 rated. 45mm mounting centres.
