A flange or grommet must be used for mounting the 110 Series round modular lamp making the 53101 (or its steel flange alternatives 53101B and 53101C) an essential component for any 110 Series installation.

The rubber grommet holds the 110 Series lamp securely in the cutout, absorbs road vibration, seals against moisture ingress around the cutout edge, and provides a clean, finished appearance without visible hardware.
