The LED Autolamps 2PM.5LP is a plug-in CAN bus error canceller designed to eliminate dashboard error warnings when LED licence plate lamps are installed in place of standard incandescent wedge globes. Compatible with 501, T10, 194, and W5W fitting formats, the 2PM.5LP plugs directly into the existing LP lamp wedge globe socket and connects to the LED licence plate lamp no cutting, no splicing, and no permanent wiring modification required.
The built-in heat sink manages the thermal load generated by the load resistor during normal operation, and the male plug format provides a clean, direct connection. Suited to the LED Autolamps range of patch lead tail lamps including the 41BLMCSB LED licence plate lamp. 12V only and not ADR compliant intended for use as a CAN bus correction device rather than as a primary lighting component. Supplied as a pair.

What problem does this product solve?
When LED licence plate lamps replace incandescent wedge globes, the dramatically lower current draw can trigger the vehicle's CAN bus monitoring system to detect a globe failure, causing dashboard error warnings or warning lights. The 2PM.5LP adds a load that mimics the original incandescent globe, preventing these errors.
Is this product ADR compliant?
No the 2PM.5LP is specifically listed as non-ADR compliant. It is a CAN bus correction device designed to work in conjunction with LED licence plate lamps, not a lamp itself.
How does this plug in?
The 2PM.5LP uses a male plug that connects directly into the existing LP lamp wedge globe socket in the vehicle's licence plate lamp housing. The LED licence plate lamp then connects to the other end. No cutting or splicing is required.
How many units are included?
Two units are supplied as a pair one for each licence plate lamp position (typically left and right on the rear of the vehicle).
What is the return policy for this product?
Return eligibility is subject to the retailer's policy. Always confirm your vehicle's globe socket type before purchasing. Contact the seller if you're unsure.
