The JBL Legend is a double DIN multimedia head unit designed for vehicles that can accommodate a large floating-style 9" display. The capacitive touchscreen provides a clear and responsive interface for daily driving, and the slim body design assists with installation in modern dashboards where depth behind the screen may be limited.

Wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are the core smartphone integration features of the JBL Legend, enabling navigation, music, calls, and messaging to be accessed through the touchscreen via a USB cable connection. Wired connection maintains stable performance and consistent phone charging during use. Bluetooth 5.0 provides hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming for use when CarPlay or Android Auto is not required, supporting standard Bluetooth profiles for calling, audio playback, and phonebook access. AM and FM radio with RDS is included with 18 FM and 12 AM preset stations.

Audio output is rated at 4 x 50W maximum power. Six-channel 4V RCA preouts (front, rear, and subwoofer) enable connection of external amplifiers.
