Product features

A big 12V system with a winch, fridge, inverter and lights needs both starting power and serious capacity. The Invicta Hybrid 200Ah MAX gives you 1500 cold cranking amps, 600A continuous discharge and 200Ah of lithium capacity, in an IP65 rated case.

If you do run it too low, the battery management system holds a small reserve back. Press the button on top of the battery, or use the Invicta Hybrid app, and you get 30 seconds to start the vehicle.

Why it suits under bonnet use

  • Charges straight from the alternator: Invicta says the Hybrid range can be charged directly from most vehicle alternators.
  • Heat resistant build: a thermal protection layer protects the internals, and the BMS only disconnects at 80°C.
  • A123 pouch cells: chosen by Invicta for high rate discharge and charge and resistance to heat.
  • Jump start reserve: a backup for the day you flatten the main capacity.
  • Bluetooth monitoring: check voltage, current, state of charge, state of health and temperature in the free Invicta Hybrid app.

What is the CCA rating?
Invicta lists 1500 cold cranking amps for this model, with 600A max continuous discharge.

Do I need a DC to DC charger?
Invicta says the Hybrid range can be charged directly from the vehicle alternator. The recommended charge current is under 100a. If your vehicle has a smart alternator, give us a call and we can talk through your setup.

How does the jump start feature work?
The BMS automatically reserves a small amount of capacity if the main capacity is over discharged. Press the button on top of the battery, or use the app, and you have 30 seconds to start the vehicle.

Can I mount it on its side?
Invicta says its batteries can be mounted on their side, but never upside down. Under the bonnet, mount it away from direct heat sources such as the exhaust.

What warranty does it have?
The Invicta Hybrid Starter range carries a three year full replacement warranty.
