The SNLH95D is a 12V 80Ah hybrid Lithium Iron Phosphate starter battery rated at 1200CCA, built on A123 pouch cells with an integrated BMS, jump start function, and IP56 rated enclosure. Certified to IEC62133 and UN38.3, rated for over 2,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge, and backed by a 3-year full replacement warranty, it supports parallel configurations up to 6P.
The Invicta SNLH95D is designed for dual-purpose use across starting and deep cycle applications, combining 1200CCA engine starting performance with 80Ah of auxiliary capacity for running 12V accessories including fridges and marine equipment. Built around A123 pouch cells, known for their high-rate discharge capability and charging flexibility, the SNLH95D is well suited to under-bonnet installations in 4WDs and off-road vehicles.
The integrated BMS allows the battery to discharge and charge at a high rate, including when operating on the jump start reserve capacity, with a high temperature disconnect set at 80°C for reliable performance in high-heat under-bonnet environments. A thermal protection layer reduces the impact of engine bay heat on the battery internals, supporting long-term durability in harsh conditions. At 10.2kg, the SNLH95D offers a significant weight reduction over equivalent AGM batteries.
The SNLH95D accepts charge directly from a vehicle alternator, with a recommended charge current of under 30A for standard charging applications. The jump start function automatically reserves a portion of capacity, which can be released by pressing the button on top of the battery when the main capacity has been depleted. Parallel scalability up to 6 units allows the SNLH95D to be used as part of a larger auxiliary storage bank.
1200CCA output with 80Ah auxiliary capacity: Delivers 1200CCA for reliable engine starting while providing 80Ah of deep cycle capacity for running 12V accessories, combining starter and auxiliary battery functions in a single compact unit.
200A continuous discharge, 1200A pulse: Supports a maximum continuous discharge current of 200A and a 1200A pulse discharge for up to 3 seconds, handling high-draw starting and auxiliary loads across a range of applications.
A123 pouch cell construction: Built using A123 pouch cells, selected for their high-rate discharge capability and flexibility in charging, providing reliable performance across both starting and deep cycle applications.
Integrated BMS with high temperature disconnect: The engineered BMS supports high-rate charge and discharge, including when operating on the jump start reserve capacity, with a high temperature disconnect set at 80°C for reliable protection in under-bonnet environments.
Jump start function: A portion of battery capacity is automatically reserved for jump starting. When the main capacity is depleted, pressing the button on top of the battery releases the reserve, allowing the vehicle to be started without an external jump starter.
Direct alternator charging: The pouch cell design and integrated BMS accept the varying charge profiles delivered by standard vehicle alternators, with a recommended charge current of under 30A for standard charging applications.
Heat resistant technology: A specially designed thermal protection layer reduces the impact of extreme engine bay heat on the battery internals for reliable performance in high-temperature under-bonnet installations.
Parallel scalability up to 6P: Supports parallel configurations of up to 6 units, allowing larger auxiliary storage banks to be built for high-demand 4WD and marine applications.
IP56 rated enclosure: The battery housing carries an IP56 ingress protection rating, providing resistance to dust and water spray in exposed under-bonnet and outdoor installation environments.
Australian owned and developed: Invicta is Australian owned, backed by over 25 years of industry knowledge. The Hybrid Starter range underwent over 2 years of pre-release development by Invicta's Australian technical team.
3-year full replacement warranty: Backed by a 3-year full replacement warranty, providing long-term confidence in the product's reliability and performance across its rated service life.

What is the difference between the SNLH95D and the SNLH95DL?
Both are 12V 80Ah 1200CCA hybrid lithium starter batteries built on A123 pouch cells. The SNLH95DL features Bluetooth monitoring and remote jump start activation via the Invicta app, while the SNLH95D uses a button-activated jump start function. The SNLH95DL also uses standard M8 terminals while the SNLH95D uses M8 Insert terminals. Contact us if you need help selecting the right model for your application.
Can the SNLH95D be charged directly from a vehicle alternator?
Yes. The integrated BMS and A123 pouch cell design accept the varying charge profiles delivered by standard vehicle alternators. The recommended charge current is under 30A for standard charging. Contact us if you have a specific alternator setup that requires clarification.
How does the jump start function work on the SNLH95D?
The integrated BMS automatically reserves a portion of capacity for jump starting. When the main capacity is depleted and the vehicle cannot be started, pressing the button on top of the battery releases the reserve capacity, allowing the vehicle to be started without an external jump starter.
Is the SNLH95D suitable for under-bonnet installation in a 4WD?
Yes. The thermal protection layer, IP56 rated enclosure, and compact dimensions make the SNLH95D well suited to under-bonnet installations in 4WDs and off-road vehicles. Note that the battery has a height of 203/224mm including terminals, so verify tray clearance before installing.
What certifications does the SNLH95D carry?
The SNLH95D is certified to IEC62133 and UN38.3, confirming compliance with international safety standards for secondary lithium cells and batteries used in automotive and consumer applications.
