The premium A123 lithium pouch cells used in the Invicta Hybrid Starter range are the same cell type used by Mercedes and BMW, selected for their inherent ability to discharge and charge at a high rate. This allows the battery to be charged directly from the vehicle alternator without requiring a DC to DC charger, while also delivering high cold cranking amps for engine starting.

The heat-resistant technology uses a specially designed thermal protection layer to keep the internal battery temperature significantly lower than the external temperature, allowing the SNLH24V100 to withstand higher operating temperatures than standard lithium batteries, particularly when installed underbonnet. IP56 dust and water resistance is rated for demanding installation environments.

Bluetooth monitoring is included on all Invicta Hybrid Starter models, available via a free Google Play and Apple App Store application. The Bluetooth app allows monitoring of critical battery information and activation of the built-in jump start feature when needed, providing a backup starting capability if the battery charge is low.
