Product features

Without room for a subwoofer, the door speakers have to carry the low end, and most component sets thin out well before that.

Hertz built the MPK 165.3 for a wide low frequency response in cars with no space for a sub. The MP 165.3 woofer uses a V cone pressed pulp cone with cotton fibres and a Boundary Free surround, reaching down to 40 Hz, while the MP 25.3 Tetolon dome tweeter runs from the MPCX 2.3 crossover with a 0 or +2 dB tweeter level switch.
