Product features

The Hertz HCP 4D is a compact four channel Class D amplifier rated 75W x 4 at 4 ohm or 260W x 2 bridged.

It takes RCA or speaker level signal, so it works with factory and aftermarket head units.

Problems it solves

  • A factory radio with no RCA outputs. The Speaker In inputs accept 0.8 to 20 V RMS from the OEM speaker wires.
  • No remote lead to the amplifier. ART switches the amp on and off with the factory radio through the speaker inputs.
  • Little room under a seat. The case measures 215 x 190 x 50 mm and weighs 1.94 kg.

Fitment and compatibility

Any 12 V car or 4WD with room for the slim case. Use the RCA inputs with an aftermarket head unit or the Speaker In inputs with a factory radio.

Install notes

Run power and ground cable rated for at least 22 A, fuse it near the battery, then set ART on if you are using the speaker level inputs without a remote lead.
