The Hertz 3-Way Elliptical Coaxial CX 690 features a 6×9" cone designed to achieve maximum performance in horizontal installations and offer, even in this difficult condition, an exceptional tone balance and power handling. The Hertz Cento Series CX 690 employs a PEI dome tweeter and super tweeter designed to deliver superior dispersion. The semi-pressed paper and mica powder woofer cone uphold your music's lower frequencies with accuracy and impact. Superior damping is also key to the sound of these speakers — minimized resonance reduces distortion for Hertz's famous truer-to-life sound.

  • Wide rubber suspension engineered for a long excursion and excellent sound damping.
  • High-density flux ferrite magnet combined with low-carbon polar plates for reduced distortion at high power levels.
  • Basket with metallic finish acoustically combined with a rubber magnet cover for total damping of spurious vibrations.
  • 40-millimeter dome tweeter for efficient distortion-free mid-high frequency reproduction.
  • 20-millimeter dome super tweeter to maximize the level of very high frequencies in horizontal installations.
