The Helix V Twelve DSP MK2 is the second generation of the V Twelve DSP, described as the new king of multitools for upgrading premium sound systems in modern vehicles. The V Twelve DSP MK2 combines 12 high-level inputs, 6 RCA inputs, a 14-channel DSP, and 12 amplifier output stages in an ultra-compact 44 x 220 x 220mm square housing - approximately the footprint of two envelopes - making it the most channel-dense amplifier in the Helix NEXT range.
Pure Class GD technology delivers outstanding sound quality combined with maximum efficiency and very low heat dissipation. The 12 amplifier channels deliver 12 x 75W RMS at 4Ω and 12 x 120W RMS at 2Ω, with maximum output of up to 160W RMS per channel at 2Ω in typical multi-channel applications. The 64-bit fixed-point DSP runs at 295 MHz (1.2 billion MAC operations per second) with BurrBrown 24-bit A/D and D/A converters, 48kHz sampling rate, SNR of 107dB from digital input and 102dB from analog input, and THD below 0.015%.
