The Helix P Six DSP Ultimate is the flagship 6-channel amplifier from the Helix P Series, delivering enormous power and sophisticated DSP technology in perfect harmony. The Ultra HD Class D topology combines the excellent sound characteristics of Class AB technology with the efficiency of a Class D digital amplifier stage, producing an amplifier with exceptional audio quality and very low heat dissipation. Channels A-F deliver 6 x 120W RMS at 4Ω, with channels C-F capable of 230W RMS at 4Ω and maximum output of up to 285W RMS per channel at 2Ω.
At the heart of the P Six DSP Ultimate is the TwinDSP platform: two independent 64-bit fixed-point audio signal processors running simultaneously at 295 MHz each, delivering a combined processing power of 2.4 billion MAC operations per second at a 96kHz sampling rate. BurrBrown A/D and D/A converters handle signal conversion, with an SNR of 108dB from digital input and 102dB from analog input and THD below 0.004%.
