The Helix AMPLIFY 206 DSP is a versatile 6-channel Class D amplifier with an integrated 8-channel DSP, combining HELIX DSP expertise with a compact, bridgeable amplifier architecture suited to a wide range of modern vehicle audio configurations. The fully bridgeable design supports 3, 4, 5, or 6-channel operation - from fully active 3-way front systems in 6-channel mode to classic 5-channel layouts with bridged channels 5 and 6 delivering 380W RMS at 4 Ohm to a dedicated subwoofer.
At the core of the DSP section is a 64-bit fixed-point audio DSP running at 295 MHz with BurrBrown 24-bit A/D and AKM 24-bit D/A converters, supported by the ACO (Advanced 32-bit CoProcessor) platform for ultra-fast switching between up to 10 sound setups and advanced features including AISA, TuneEQ, RealCenter, Augmented Bass Processing, DLC, and RTC.
Inputs include 6 x RCA, 6 x high-level with ADEP.3 for OEM integration, and 1 x optical SPDIF (12-96kHz). Outputs include 6 x speaker and 2 x RCA at 8V.
