The GNET D-FORCE S1 is a 4 channel dash cam built for trucks, buses and caravans, recording Full HD (1920x1080) footage from the front, rear, left and right cameras. It uses Sony Starvis image sensors for clearer footage in low light, and works with GNET's optional 12.3 inch touchscreen monitor (sold separately) so you can check all four views at once. A Wi-Fi dongle and microSD memory card are included in the box.

The D-FORCE S1 records from four angles at once: front, rear, left side and right side, all in FHD (1920 x 1080) at up to 30 frames per second. Each camera uses a Sony Starvis image sensor, which is designed to pick up more detail in low light, so night driving footage stays clearer. The system uses H.265 (HEVC) video compression, which keeps file sizes down without cutting picture quality, and ADPCM for audio through the built in microphone.

Features and benefits

4 Channel FHD Recording - full coverage: The D-FORCE S1 records Full HD (1920x1080) video from the front, rear, left and right cameras at the same time, at up to 30 frames per second per camera. This gives you a complete picture around a truck, bus or caravan, which is useful if an incident happens on either side of the vehicle, not just ahead or behind.

Sony Starvis Image Sensor - better low light footage: Starvis is a back illuminated sensor technology built for capturing more detail in dim conditions. It means footage recorded at night or in shaded areas stays clearer, rather than turning grainy or dark.

Real HDR - reduces glare and blur: Real HDR is built in to cut down on light blur when you drive at night, through tunnels, or into strong backlight. Reference footage from GNET shows a tunnel exit that's overexposed and washed out with HDR off, and much clearer with it on.

Optional 12.3 Inch Touchscreen Monitor - control without a PC: With GNET's wide touchscreen monitor (sold separately), you can view live footage, play back recordings, change settings and manage the memory card directly from the cab. You can switch between 2, 3, and 4 way screen splits by tapping the display.

ADAS Safety Warnings - needs GPS connected: ADAS includes Forward Vehicle Start Alarm (beeps if the car ahead has moved off more than 2 metres), Forward Collision Warning (warns if you're closing in on the vehicle ahead too fast), and Lane Departure Warning (alerts you if you drift out of your lane). These functions rely on GPS being connected (the external GPS is sold separately), and without the optional touchscreen monitor the warnings are audio only.

IP69K Rated Side and Rear Cameras - built for wash downs: The rated side and rear cameras are sealed against high pressure water, rain, snow and dust, so they keep working through washing and rough weather. This matters for trucks and buses that get washed down regularly.

withCLOUD Compatible - fleet management ready: withCLOUD is GNET's cloud based fleet management system, giving unlimited storage beyond what the SD card can hold, plus live streaming, live GPS tracking, driving statistics and geofencing. It needs a 3G/4G/router connection, which is sold separately. Time Lapse

Parking Mode - longer parking recording: When parking mode kicks in, the camera automatically switches to recording one frame per second. This keeps file sizes small so you can cover a longer parking period without filling the memory card as fast.

Low Battery Protection (LBP) - protects your vehicle battery: LBP is a safeguard that stops recording and cuts power automatically once voltage drops to a set level, so the dash cam doesn't drain your vehicle battery flat. The cut off voltage is adjustable (11.3V to 12.3V) using the GNET PC Viewer or GNET app.

H.265 Video Compression - smaller file sizes: H.265 (also called HEVC) compresses video more efficiently than older formats, meaning the same quality footage takes up less space on your SD card.

Wi-Fi and GNET App Connectivity - remote setup and playback: With the included Wi-Fi dongle, you can connect the dash cam to the GNET smartphone app for live view, video playback, firmware updates and settings changes. Note that the Wi-Fi/IoT feature needs to be disabled if withCLOUD is enabled.
