The GME TX3340 is an ultra compact 477MHz UHF CB radio with a full-function LCD controller microphone designed to be installed unobtrusively in modern vehicles. The extremely compact radio body can be mounted in virtually any location, with only the LCD controller microphone visible at the operator position. This is the same remote-head approach as GME's black box marine radios, applied to UHF CB for vehicle installations.

The TX3340 features the same Pure Sound DSP engine as the TX3100 for clear, digital signal processing. Standard configuration is 40 channels, upgradable to 80 channels. Privacy coding includes 50 in-built CTCSS codes and 104 DCS codes; 5-digit Selcall with quiet mode allows selective individual calling.
