The GME LE026 is a 12V DC cigarette lighter lead compatible with most GME UHF CB fixed mount radios. It connects a compatible GME radio to a vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter or auxiliary power socket for a quick power connection without permanent wiring. The TX4600 and TX4610 are excluded from the LE026 these two models require the LE016 lead instead.
The LE026 is suited to temporary and portable radio installations, hire vehicles where permanent wiring modifications are not permitted, demonstrations, and situations where permanent fuse box or battery terminal wiring has not yet been completed. It plugs into any standard 12V cigarette lighter or auxiliary power socket.
Most GME UHF CB fixed mount radios are compatible with the LE026. The TX4600 and TX4610 use a different power connector or voltage configuration and require the GME LE016 instead. Using the wrong lead can damage the radio always confirm the correct lead for your specific model before purchasing.
The LE026 is rated for 12V DC. Most 24V vehicles have 12V converter circuits or 12V auxiliary sockets available, but connecting a 12V-rated lead to an unregulated 24V supply can damage the radio. If your vehicle operates on 24V, contact us before purchasing.
