The GR350BTB is designed for vessels where a full size marine stereo is not practical or where an existing gauge hole provides a ready made mounting point. Many vessels have vacant round holes in the helm panel after analogue gauges are removed during upgrades. Bluetooth wireless audio streaming pairs with smartphones, tablets, and other Bluetooth enabled devices for music playback on the vessel. The built in AM/FM tuner covers standard broadcast frequencies. AM frequency range is 522 to 1620 kHz (9 kHz step, EU/AUS/NZ) and 530 to 1710 kHz (10 kHz step, USA/Canada). Four 40W speaker outputs drive an external marine speaker installation. The 2.7 inch full colour TFT LCD display is backlit and readable in direct sunlight. Current consumption is less than 5.1A at full volume. IPX5 protection covers water jets and spray from any direction, suited to protected helm positions on recreational vessels. IPX5 is not a submersion rating.
