Product Overview

The Gator GUNIHWC is a universal dashcam hard wire kit designed to connect a dashcam directly to the vehicle fuse box for a permanent, discreet installation. It includes three dashcam connectors (Mini USB, Micro USB, and Type-C USB) and five fuse tap styles (Standard, Mini, Micro, Micro2, Micro3) covering the vast majority of dashcam models and vehicle fuse box types.

The built-in voltage cut-off protects the vehicle battery by automatically disconnecting power when the battery voltage falls to a user-selectable threshold (11.8V, 12.0V, 12.2V, or 12.4V for 12V vehicles; 23.6V, 24.0V, 24.4V, or 24.8V for 24V vehicles). Comprehensive protection covers reverse polarity, short circuit, over-temperature, overvoltage, and overload.

Also compatible with: Gator mirror monitors GRV90MKT, GRV92MKT, and GRV96MKT.

Not compatible with: Dashcams that have an inline GPS antenna built into the power cable.

Unlike the GHWC (Mini USB only), the GUNIHWC works with any dashcam that connects via one of the three included USB types.

Why is it not compatible with inline GPS dashcams?

Dashcams with an inline GPS antenna in the power cable use the power cable to also carry GPS data — the GUNIHWC's voltage conversion and circuitry may interfere with this signal. Always confirm your dashcam's power cable type before purchasing.
