Product features

If the screen on your Gator mirror monitor still works and only the rear camera has failed, you only need the camera. Gator sells the GRV9RC as the replacement rear camera for several of its mirror monitor kits. It is a 1080P camera with a 110 degree lens and an IP65 rating.

Fitment

  • Gator lists it as the replacement rear camera on its GRV90MKT and GRV96MKT kit pages, and as a spare for the GRV92CPM.
  • On the GRV92MKT kit it replaces the small format camera only, not the heavy duty camera.
  • Gator asks you to confirm how many pins your camera cable has before buying. It lists the GRV9RC as 4 pin and a separate GRV9RC5 for 5 pin cables.

In the box

  • Gator supplies it as a spare part, not in retail packaging and with no barcode.

Specs

  • 1080P, CMOS IMX323 sensor, 110 degree lens, IP65, parking gridlines, 12V, 19 mm (H) x 24 mm (W) x 22 mm (L), 0.10 kg.

Warranty

  • This comes with the manufacturer's warranty through the Australian distributor. See the manufacturer's terms for details, plus our guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Questions and answers

My Gator kit has a 5 pin camera lead. Is this the one?

No. Gator lists the GRV9RC for 4 pin cables and a GRV9RC5 for 5 pin cables, so count the pins first.

What if the picture comes up upside down?

One customer found the picture came up upside down and fixed it by turning the camera around on its mount. If yours does the same, ring us before you pull anything apart.

Can I get a longer lead for a ute or van?

Gator sells a 3 m extension, GRV90EXT, separately. On the GRV96MKT it says use a maximum of one.
