Product Overview

The Gator GRV96MKT is a feature-rich clip-on mirror monitor offering everything the GRV90MKT does, plus dual-channel dashcam recording a front camera built into the mirror monitor and a rear surface mount camera recording simultaneously.

Three operating modes:

  1. Mirror: Acts as a standard reflective mirror when not in camera mode.
  2. Live stream: Displays a real-time rear view while driving — ideal for utes, vans, trucks, and motorhomes with limited rear vision.
  3. Reverse camera: Automatically switches to the rear camera with parking gridlines when reverse gear is engaged.

The front dashcam (built into the monitor) records Full HD 1080P at 30fps with a 120-degree field of view. The included rear camera records 1080P at 25fps with a 110-degree field of view and IP65 rating. Both channels record simultaneously in continuous loop. G-sensor impact detection locks footage to a protected file separate from the loop.

Key upgrade over GRV90MKT: The GRV96MKT adds dual-channel recording (front + rear simultaneously) and includes a 16GB SD card. The GRV90MKT is single rear channel only and does not include an SD card.

No parking mode — park impact and park motion detection are not supported.

What is the difference between the GRV96MKT and the GRV90MKT?

Both are 9.35-inch clip-on mirror monitors with live streaming and reverse camera capability. The GRV96MKT adds dual-channel dashcam recording — the front camera is built into the monitor and records simultaneously with the rear camera. The GRV90MKT is single-channel rear recording only. The GRV96MKT also includes a 16GB SD card; the GRV90MKT does not. Choose the GRV96MKT for dual front and rear dashcam recording.

Does this unit record both front and rear simultaneously?

Yes. The GRV96MKT is a dual-channel dashcam — the built-in front camera and the rear camera record simultaneously to the SD card in continuous loop. Both channels are also separately locked by the G-sensor on impact.

Does this kit include an SD card?

Yes — a 16GB SD card is included. It can be upgraded to up to 128GB (Class 10 or above required, sold separately).

Does this kit record in parking mode?

No. The GRV96MKT does not support park impact or park motion detection. For parking surveillance, the GUNIHWC hard wire kit powers the unit but does not enable parking mode — this feature is not available on this model.

What optional accessories are available?
