Product Overview

The Gator GRV90MKT is a feature-rich clip-on mirror monitor that replaces the factory rear view mirror appearance with a 9.35-inch super wide HD touchscreen. It combines three functions in one unit:

  1. Mirror: Acts as a standard reflective mirror when not in active camera mode.
  2. Live stream: Displays a real-time rear view while driving — ideal for utes, vans, trucks, and motorhomes with limited rear vision through the cabin.
  3. Reverse camera: Automatically switches to the 1080P camera with parking gridlines when reverse gear is engaged.

The built-in G-sensor detects impacts and locks the current footage to a protected file on the SD card, separate from the continuous loop recording. A built-in microphone, speaker, and battery are included. Recording requires a Class 10 micro SD card up to 64GB (sold separately).

Optional accessories: GRV90EXT 3m extension cable, GUNIHWC hard wire kit (both sold separately).

What is the live stream function?

Unlike a standard reverse camera that only activates when reversing, the GRV90MKT can live stream the rear camera view to the mirror screen while driving — allowing the driver to see what is behind the vehicle at all times. This is especially useful for utes, vans, trucks, and motorhomes where the cabin blocks the rear window view.

Does recording require an SD card?

Yes. Recording (continuous loop, impact detection, and SOS) requires a micro SD card of at least Class 6, with Class 10 recommended. Up to 64GB is supported. The SD card is sold separately and is not included with the kit.

Does this unit work as a dashcam?

Yes. The GRV90MKT includes dashcam functionality — continuous loop recording, G-sensor impact detection that locks footage, and a manual SOS recording mode. It records from the rear camera only (single channel).

Does this kit record in parking mode?

No. The GRV90MKT does not support park impact or park motion detection recording. For parking surveillance, the GUNIHWC hard wire kit does not enable parking mode on this unit — parking recording modes are not supported.

What optional accessories are available?

The GRV90EXT 3m extension cable is available for longer vehicles. The GUNIHWC hard wire kit enables fuse box connection instead of using the accessory socket adaptor. Spare parts (replacement camera, harness, mounting clips, brackets) are also available — contact the F.A.E. team.
