A purpose-built towing reverse camera kit 7-inch display with mirror image, vehicle camera (IP67, gridlines), heavy duty trailer camera (IP68, 10 IR LEDs), quick-connect trailer system, PROLINK II, 12/24V.

Product Overview

The Gator GRV70TKT is a complete reverse camera kit designed specifically for vehicles towing caravans and trailers. It includes a 7-inch display, two cameras, and a quick-connect trailer connection system for easy attach and detach.

Vehicle camera (small, IP67): Compact surface mount CMOS, 120-degree, parking guidelines built in, PROLINK II. Connects via 6m main cable.

Trailer camera (large, IP68): Heavy duty CMOS, 120-degree, 10 infrared LEDs for night vision, PROLINK II. Connects via 10m extension cable. Parking guidelines can be activated via the monitor's menu settings.

The trailer camera takes priority over the vehicle camera when reverse gear is engaged displaying the trailer rear first. Both cameras can also be activated on demand via the channel buttons on the display. A third PROLINK II input accepts an additional camera if needed.

What is the difference between the GRV70TKT and the GT70SDTK?

Both are 7-inch towing reverse camera kits with two cameras and a quick-connect trailer system. The GRV70TKT uses a standard 7-inch RCA-style display (PAL/NTSC, mirror image, windscreen/dash mounts, 350cd). The GT70SDTK uses the Gator GT commercial PROLINK II monitor platform (also 7-inch, 350cd, but commercial grade with heavier-duty PROLINK connections throughout). Confirm which platform better suits your vehicle and use case with the F.A.E. team.

Which camera displays when I engage reverse?

The trailer camera takes priority — when reverse gear is engaged, the trailer rear view displays automatically. The vehicle camera and trailer camera can both be activated manually at any time using the channel select buttons on the display.

Can parking guidelines be displayed on the trailer camera?

The trailer camera does not have built-in parking guidelines, but the monitor has a parking line overlay option in the menu settings — this can be enabled to display guidelines over the trailer camera feed.

Can I add a third camera to this system?

Yes. The monitor has three PROLINK II inputs (vehicle camera, trailer camera, and one spare). A third camera — such as a side camera — can be added to the third input.

Is this kit suitable for horse floats?

Yes. The IP68-rated trailer camera, quick-connect system, and 10m extension cable make the GRV70TKT well suited to horse float use. The quick-connect system allows the float to be attached and detached quickly without re-wiring.
