A combined audible and visual reverse warning 105dB squawk alarm with a flashing white LED. IP67 rated, 12–80V, nylon housing, –40°C to +80°C. Suits trucks, trailers, loaders, forklifts, utes, vans, and 4WDs.
The Gator GHDRASLD is a heavy duty reverse alarm that combines a 105dB squawk-type audible alarm with a flashing white LED providing both audible and visual warnings to pedestrians and workers when the vehicle is reversing.
12V to 80V DC input range makes it compatible with standard 12V vehicles, 24V commercial trucks, 48V electric forklifts, and other high-voltage machinery. IP67 rated nylon housing withstands harsh industrial environments. Wire-type connections for straightforward installation.
Key upgrade over GHDRASQ: The GHDRASLD adds a flashing white LED visual alert and extends the voltage range from 12–24V to 12–80V.

What is the difference between the GHDRASLD and the GHDRASQ?
Both are 105dB IP67 squawk-type reverse alarms with nylon housing and the same operating temperature range. The GHDRASLD adds a flashing white LED visual alert and extends the voltage input range from 12–24V (GHDRASQ) to 12–80V (GHDRASLD). Choose the GHDRASLD for combined visual and audible warning, or for higher-voltage equipment such as electric forklifts.
Why would I need a visual LED warning in addition to the audible alarm?
In very loud environments such as factories, construction sites, and mining operations, workers may wear hearing protection that reduces the effectiveness of audible alarms. A flashing white LED provides a supplementary visual warning — ensuring pedestrians and workers are alerted even when hearing protection is worn.
Is this compatible with electric forklifts and 48V systems?
Yes. The 12–80V input range covers 48V electric forklifts and other high-voltage industrial equipment that is outside the range of the GHDRASQ (12–24V only).
How is this alarm wired?
The GHDRASLD uses direct wire connections. Wire the positive lead to the vehicle's reverse light circuit and the negative lead to earth — the alarm activates whenever reverse gear is engaged and the reverse lights are active.
Can this alarm be used on a trailer?
Yes. IP67 rating and the wide voltage range make it suitable for trailer installation. Connect to the trailer's reverse light circuit via the towing connector.
