What is the difference between the GHDRABP, GHDRASQ, and GHDRASLD?

All three are 105dB IP67 reverse alarms with nylon housing and the same temperature range. The GHDRABP produces a traditional beep tone. The GHDRASQ produces a squawk sound (12–24V, stud connections, no LED). The GHDRASLD produces a squawk sound and adds a flashing white LED (12–80V, wire connections). Choose the GHDRABP for traditional beep-tone alarm; choose the squawk variants for industrial environments.

What is the difference between a beep and squawk alarm?

A beep alarm produces a repetitive tonal sound at a fixed frequency — the traditional reverse alarm familiar in most vehicles. A squawk alarm produces a sharp, broadband burst that is less directional. Many modern safety standards prefer squawk alarms in industrial settings; however beep alarms remain in common use and are often preferred in road vehicle applications. Confirm which sound type is required for your application.

Is the GHDRABP compatible with 48V forklifts?

How is this alarm wired?

The GHDRABP uses stud-type connections. Wire the positive stud to the vehicle's reverse light circuit and the negative stud to earth — the alarm activates when reverse gear is engaged.
