The Fusion 010-11076-02 is a 10-metre (32-foot) NMEA 2000 cable that can be used as either a backbone extension or a drop cable in a marine NMEA 2000 network. It enables longer cable runs between network components or increases the distance at which a device can connect to the backbone, supporting flexible installation layouts across larger vessels.
NMEA 2000 is the industry-standard marine networking protocol used to link compatible electronics chartplotters, GPS units, depth sounders, VHF radios, engine data displays, and autopilots over a shared data bus. Fusion's NMEA 2000 cables are compatible with the broader NMEA 2000 ecosystem beyond just Fusion devices.

NMEA 2000 (National Marine Electronics Association 2000) is a plug-and-play serial data communications standard used in marine electronics. It allows multiple devices — chartplotters, GPS units, depth sounders, engine data displays, VHF radios, autopilots, and others — to share data over a single shared bus cable. Devices connect to a central backbone cable via drop cables and T-connectors, forming a daisy-chain network throughout the vessel.
The backbone is the main cable run that forms the spine of the NMEA 2000 network, running the length of the vessel. Drop cables branch off the backbone via T-connectors to connect individual devices to the network. Backbone cables carry the full bus load between components; drop cables carry the connection from the backbone T-connector to a specific device. The Fusion 010-11076-02 can serve either function depending on your network configuration.
Any NMEA 2000-compatible device can be connected via this cable, including Fusion head units, chartplotters, GPS antennas, depth sounders, engine data interfaces, autopilot sensors, and weather instruments. NMEA 2000 is a cross-brand standard, so the cable is not limited to Fusion devices only.
NMEA 2000 is an open industry standard, and compatible cables generally work across brands. However, confirm that connector types and cable specifications match your existing network's components before purchasing, as some NMEA 2000 implementations use proprietary connector variants.
A basic NMEA 2000 network requires: a backbone cable (or multiple cables joined together), T-connectors at each device connection point, two terminators (one at each end of the backbone), a power cable to supply 12V to the bus, and drop cables of appropriate length for each device. Confirm the total cable length and number of devices against NMEA 2000 load requirements for your installation.
