The eufy SoloCam S220 (T8134C21) is a small wire free outdoor camera with a built in solar panel. It records in 2K, connects over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, stores footage on the device and charges itself from about 3 hours of sun a day. It is IP67 rated and has a 135° field of view.

Good for spots without power

A shed, a gate or the back of a carport rarely has a power point. A solar camera avoids running cable and avoids pulling it down to recharge. Mount it, drill one hole, and leave it. Human detection cuts down alerts from swaying trees, and you can set up to 2 zones to focus on.

Face the camera so the panel gets the northern sun. Check the Wi-Fi signal at the spot with your phone before drilling, since 2.4GHz is the only band it uses.
