The Dynamat 11101 is one 813mm x 1372mm (32" x 54") sheet of Dynaliner at 3.175mm (1/8") thickness, giving 1.11sqm (12 sq ft) of coverage. Dynaliner is a self-adhesive closed cell rubber insulation matting designed to be used on top of Dynamat Xtreme for combined thermal and acoustic performance. Resists oil and water, crush and tear resistant, lightweight and flexible.
Dynaliner is an automotive thermal insulator made from closed cell rubber with tightly packed cells that give the material near-zero air infiltration. This structure is the key to its heat-blocking performance, and it also prevents water absorption, meaning it will not promote rust or mildew the way conventional under-carpet padding and thermal insulators can. Dynaliner has the highest heat-blocking properties of any single-layer synthetic foam insulator available, and when used on top of Dynamat Xtreme it nearly doubles the total thermal resistance of the treatment. Dynaliner also provides acoustic absorption on top of the vibration damping from Dynamat, giving a combined sound and heat solution in two complementary layers. The self-adhesive backing installs directly over Dynamat or to bare panels. Flexible and lightweight, it suits roof, firewall, floor, quarter panel, door, and under-hood applications.
3.175mm (1/8") closed cell rubber: Near-zero air infiltration for high heat-blocking performance.
One 813mm x 1372mm sheet: 1.11sqm (12 sq ft) for targeted thermal or acoustic insulation treatment.
Used on top of Dynamat Xtreme: Combined with Dynamat, nearly doubles total thermal resistance of the installation.
Highest heat-blocking properties of any single-layer synthetic foam insulator.
Does not absorb water: Will not promote rust or mildew, unlike conventional under-carpet padding.
Oil resistant.
Crush and tear resistant.
Ultra lightweight and flexible: Suits curved and irregular panel surfaces including roof, firewall, floor, quarter panels, and doors.
Self-adhesive installation: Peel and press directly onto Dynamat or bare panels.
Isolates vibration and reduces unwanted noise.

What is Dynaliner and how does it differ from Dynamat Xtreme?
Dynaliner is a closed cell rubber thermal and acoustic insulator. Dynamat Xtreme is a butyl rubber vibration damper. The two products are designed to work together — Dynamat Xtreme is applied to the bare panel first to damp vibration, and Dynaliner is applied on top to add thermal insulation and acoustic absorption.
Does Dynaliner need to be used with Dynamat Xtreme?
Dynaliner performs best when applied on top of Dynamat Xtreme, where it nearly doubles the total thermal resistance of the treatment. It can also be used alone for acoustic absorption and heat reduction in areas where vibration damping is not the primary concern.
Why does Dynaliner not promote rust or mildew?
Dynaliner is a closed cell foam with near-zero air infiltration, meaning water cannot be absorbed into the material. Conventional under-carpet padding absorbs moisture and traps it against the panel surface, promoting rust and mildew over time. Dynaliner does not hold water and therefore does not create this risk.
What areas of the vehicle is Dynaliner suited to?
Dynaliner is suited to roof, firewall, floor, quarter panels, doors, and under-hood areas — anywhere thermal insulation or acoustic absorption is needed in addition to vibration damping.
Is the 11101 the right thickness of Dynaliner for my application?
Dynaliner is available in 1/8" (3.175mm), 1/4", and 1/2" thicknesses. Dynamat recommends using the thickest version that the available space will allow for maximum thermal performance. Contact us to confirm which thickness suits your application.
