Product features

The DNA AFC101 is a nickel plated clear inline midi (AFC) fuse holder for 4 or 8 gauge power cable, supplied with an 80A midi fuse.

An amplifier or accessory feed without a fuse near the battery is a fire risk the first time the cable rubs through. This holder goes in line on the power cable, and the clear cover lets you see the fuse at a glance without pulling it apart.

Spare fuses

DNA midi fuses to suit are the AFC160 (60A), AFC180 (80A) and AFC1150 (150A). Mount the holder as close to the battery as you can.

Which grub screws do I use?

The fitted 8mm screws suit larger cable. Swap to the supplied 10mm screws for smaller gauge cable.

Can I fit a 150A fuse?

DNA lists a 150A midi fuse, AFC1150, in the same range. Size the fuse to your cable.

Where should the AFC101 go?

In line on the power cable, as close to the battery as you can get it, so the whole run behind it is protected.
