Premium Heavy Weight Plastic Film Which Comes Over Sized Ready to Stick Down to Any Door Shape

Our Door Restore Kit comes complete with OE plastic and adhesive sealant tape to water proof door cavities before interior trim is installed.

Without any waterproof barrier your timber door trims are exposed to water and moisture that passes through the inner door cavity. The nature of water will lead to distorting timber door cards and potentially mould in your door trims.

We have put together a premium heavy weight plastic film which comes over sized ready to stick down to any door shape.

Application:

  • Apply the black waterproof seal tape to the perimeter of the door, ensuring you leave door trim mounts exposed. Tip* When you get to tight corner remove a portion of the tape backing to allow the tape to bend and make a neat radius.
  • Remove the film off the water proof tape
  • Stretch out the protective film and touch it down on the waterproof seal tape. Apply pressure where the film contacts to create a strong bond.
  • With a utility knife cut around the outside perimeter of the seal path to remove the excess film and create that original factory finish.
