It reads CAN bus data by induction around the wiring, with no metal to metal connection to the vehicle CAN bus.

Does my LandCruiser 300 need a particular software version?

The supplier says the interface must be SW 89 or above for the 300 Series LandCruiser.

Is the light bar wiring harness part of this kit?

No. The supplier says a wiring harness for your lights is still needed and is not included.

Does a 2023 Subaru WRX need anything special?
