The ELITE 8-1CH is BlackVue's most advanced single-channel dashcam, built around the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor for 2K QHD (2560x1440) recording at 30fps. High Dynamic Range processing is applied at the sensor level, delivering well-balanced footage in high-contrast conditions, while Ultra Low LUX tuning at 0.03 LUX ensures clear detail capture well into the night.

The 256GB BlackVue microSD card included in this SKU is well suited to drivers who use parking mode regularly or who want to retain several days of footage without the card filling. Power Saving Parking Mode draws under 1mA in standby, protecting a parked vehicle for up to two months on a hardwired connection or more than 12 months with a BlackVue Ultra Battery pack. No. When an impact is detected in Power Saving Mode, the ELITE 8-1CH wakes and records a full 60-second event clip at standard recording quality. Buffered recording is not supported in Power Saving Mode. Buffered pre-event recording is available in Motion Detection and Time Lapse parking modes.
