The BlackVue ELITE10-2CH-64 is BlackVue's flagship dual channel 4K dash cam, recording true 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 30fps on both the front and rear cameras. Both cameras are powered by Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 8.4MP CMOS sensors, delivering outstanding clarity and low-light performance. The front camera features HDR technology for balanced exposure in challenging lighting conditions including direct sunlight, tunnels, and high-contrast scenes.

Built-in dual-band GPS with GLONASS logs location and speed data with every recording. Dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11ac, 2.4GHz and 5GHz) enables fast footage access and settings management via the BlackVue app on iOS and Android. The ELITE10-2CH is fully BlackVue Cloud compatible for remote Live View, event auto-upload, push notifications, and remote video playback. LTE connectivity is available via the optional CM100GLTE module (sold separately).

Parking mode operates in three modes - motion detection, time-lapse, and power saving - with power saving mode drawing under 1mA to protect the vehicle battery. A battery voltage monitor with adjustable low voltage cut-off is built in. Smart event recording with 10-second pre-buffer captures the moments leading up to an incident. What is the difference between the parking mode options on the ELITE10-2CH?

The ELITE10-2CH offers three parking modes. Motion detection records a 1-minute buffered clip whenever movement is detected by the front or rear camera. Time-lapse records continuously at 1 frame per second, compressing 30 minutes into a 1-minute file. Power saving mode draws under 1mA and wakes the camera when an event is detected, offering the best battery protection for extended park periods. Note that buffered recording is not supported in power saving mode.

Does the ELITE10-2CH have built-in LTE?

No. The ELITE10-2CH does not have built-in LTE. Cloud connectivity over Wi-Fi is built in. For permanent LTE cloud connectivity, the optional BlackVue CM100GLTE module is available separately and connects via the front camera. BlackVue Cloud requires mobile data (BYO data).

Can the rear camera also record in 4K?

Yes. Both the front and rear cameras on the ELITE10-2CH record at true 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 30fps. HDR is available on the front camera only.

Does the 64GB microSD card need to be replaced or formatted regularly?

BlackVue microSD cards are industrial-grade cards designed for the constant read/write cycles of dash cam recording. The camera features Adaptive Format-Free technology that manages the card automatically. BlackVue recommends using only BlackVue-branded microSD cards to ensure performance and maintain warranty coverage.
