The SWVW3V is a steering wheel control and reverse camera retention interface from Aerpro, designed for various Volkswagen and Skoda models fitted with an RNS510, RNS315 or RCD510 original headunit and quadlock connector. It comes with a harness that has a vehicle specific plug, so it connects directly into your existing wiring without any cutting. This interface converts your factory RGB reverse camera signal into a standard CVBS output via RCA, so the picture can display on your new aftermarket headunit. That includes cameras hidden behind the motorised rear VW badge, with the badge still operating normally as the vehicle controls it. Active guidelines are also retained on vehicles that have this feature fitted from the factory. The SWVW3V is CANBUS compatible and also provides reverse trigger, park brake and speed pulse outputs, which many aftermarket headunits use for extra functions.
