The Aerpro SWMB8C is an analogue steering wheel control (SWC) interface for select Mitsubishi vehicles without OEM amplified audio systems. It retains factory steering wheel audio controls after an aftermarket head unit is installed. Phone button and voice assistant button support are not available. Not suitable for OEM amplified vehicles. No wire cutting is required.

The SWMB8C bridges the factory steering wheel control signals to the aftermarket head unit using an analogue interface and SW patch lead. A vehicle-specific plug connects directly into the existing Mitsubishi wiring without cutting or modifying the factory loom. The aftermarket head unit must be SWC compatible, and steering wheel control functions may vary from the original OEM functions.

This interface suits non-amplified variants only. If your Mitsubishi is fitted with an OEM amplified audio system, the SWMB8C is not suitable an alternative interface will be required. No outputs are provided for reverse trigger, park brake, speed pulse, illumination or amplifier remote. OEM AUX input and OEM amplified system retention are not supported. Phone button and voice assistant functionality are also not available on this interface. Custom button remapping is available if needed using a USB-C cable (sold separately). Pairing with the Aerpro APP8 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness (sold separately) is recommended for a complete installation.
