An analogue steering wheel control interface engineered for various Citroen, Mitsubishi, and Peugeot vehicles without OEM amplified sound systems, the SWMB2C retains factory steering wheel controls and OEM AUX input with a vehicle-specific plug connection that requires no cutting of the factory wiring harness.

Product Overview

The Aerpro SWMB2C is an analogue steering wheel control interface designed for various Citroen, Mitsubishi, and Peugeot vehicles without OEM amplified sound systems. It includes a harness fitted with a vehicle-specific plug that connects directly into the existing factory wiring in the vehicle without cutting or modifying the factory harness. The SWMB2C is compatible with SW-type patch leads (sold separately) and supports the OEM phone button when connected to a compatible aftermarket Bluetooth head unit. OEM AUX retention is also supported when the aftermarket head unit has a rear RCA AUX input.

Voice Assistant support is available; if the steering wheel controls do not include a dedicated Voice Assistant button, the answer button functions as phone support instead, provided the aftermarket head unit and paired phone also support the Voice Assistant feature. Custom button remapping is available and requires a USB-C cable (sold separately).

Phone buttons on steering wheels do not support Sony aftermarket head unit models: the Answer button functions as Mute and the Hang Up button functions as Source on Sony units. Alpine, Clarion, Kenwood, Pioneer, and Zenec head units support the phone button. Installation is simplified when the SWMB2C is paired with the optional Aerpro APP8 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness (sold separately).
