Aerpro SWHO7C Steering Wheel Control Interface for Honda Vehicles with Phone and Voice Assistant Button Support

The Aerpro SWHO7C is an analogue steering wheel control (SWC) interface designed to suit various Honda models, allowing the factory steering wheel controls to continue functioning after an aftermarket head unit is installed. A vehicle-specific plug connects directly to the existing wiring without cutting the factory loom. Unlike the SWHY4C, the SWHO7C supports phone button and voice assistant button functionality. Not suitable for vehicles with factory navigation.

Product overview

Replacing the factory head unit in a compatible Honda vehicle removes the connection between the steering wheel control buttons and the audio system. The SWHO7C restores this connection by bridging the factory steering wheel control signals to the aftermarket head unit using an analogue interface and a SW patch lead. The vehicle-specific plug connects directly into the existing wiring without any cutting or modification to the factory loom.

The SWHO7C supports phone button retention and voice assistant button functionality, where supported by the steering wheel and head unit. If the steering wheel does not have a dedicated voice assistant button, the answer button will function as phone support instead. Both the aftermarket head unit and the connected phone must also support the voice assistant feature for it to operate. The SWHO7C is not suitable for Honda vehicles fitted with factory navigation. Confirm your specific model compatibility using the Aerpro Vehicle Selector before purchasing. Custom button remapping is available if needed a USB-C cable (sold separately) is required and remapping instructions are available from Aerpro. Pairing with the Aerpro APP8 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness (sold separately) is recommended to simplify the installation.
